We kept our promise, we let little Sheebo sleep late the next morning. Trust is partially built on that you know; do as you say, say as you do. So when he woke up, we asked him to show us how to make that fluff of his. He had asked his big brother to help him.
Big Sheebo was perhaps a big too bit for this? Or a bit too big?
Let’s see the difference between them, big and small. Can you try holding Sheebo, Sheebo?
Here I am!
Yes, there you are.
Did you see how in one picture I changed sizes? I am not the biggest brother, but only one of the bigger brother. Nevermind. Let’s make that fluff, I need a glass.
And Sheebo needed some casein. We had more than some. We love to hoard.. or was it herd?
We need 25grams of casein.
And 50grams of almond milk.
Oh yeah, and we need ice. Lots of ice. Cubes. Ice cubes!
Step one. Crush the ice.
If you do it well (or fast, or with a smile) it becomes dry powder.
But don’t let a sheep touch it, because sheep are warm, and the dry ice will melt.
Step two is adding the casein.
Hold the mixer, Sheebo.
For we will add the milk too. Step three. And then just mix! Step four, five, six and seven: patience, time and a happy smile in anticipation of what will come. The substance will become thicker, sticky.
When the substance looks a bit like gum, or like milkshake, depending on how much ice you chose to add, you must now put a lot of air into the substance. So whip it! Step ten to sixteen: it may take up to five minutes before the substance becomes fluffy.
See how it has grown in size already? Remember how we started with just a tiny cup of casein and milk? This will come of it when you add air to it. The phrase nothing but air gets another dimension now, doesn’t it?
Oh, and this is what happens when the camera gets wet.. Sorry.. tried putting it in a bowl.
Now you can step all you want. You can add some cocoa nibs, or oreo cookies, or fresh fruit, or whatever you feel like having that day!
Shall we do this one time to never do it again, Sheebo? You know what we mean, right? Making a foodpic? Let’s go outside for better light.
Yes. One time only. Sheep posing in a food pic.
Add a leafs for that special autumn fluffy feeling. Enjoy!
