Meet me. And my mummy! This is my mummy. And next to her it’s me! So me and my mummy. My mummy and me! Can you guess who’s who?
I hope that when I grow up, if I ever do, that I will inherit some of what she is like.
That’s funny, little star, because I was just thinking the same about you. That when you grow up, if you ever do, I hope that I am still around and perhaps you can teach me a thing or two.
Yes, this is my little star.
I raised her.
I watched her play.
I watched her stumble.
I saw her get excited about certain stuff.
I saw how she closed herself off of certain stuff.
I saw her looking forward to certain stuff, hoping that life would happen to her, when she would be a grown-up.
But for now I hope that that time doesn’t come any time soon, for she is my little star. She raises ME up, she gets ME excited and makes ME want to play with life.
